Text Box: Membership Options             Membership The EUAA has Full members with voting rights as well as Sponsoring members without voting rights. Full Members of the EUAA can be: 1. Legal persons/entities under public law 2. Legal persons/entities under private law, companies, associations, research and study groups 3. Legal persons that are established in Europe and are active in the teaching, study, practice, or promotion of Ayurveda especially associations, organisations and institutions such as: 3.1. Medical associations 3.2. Associations for non-medical practitioners/health practitioners 3.3. Associations of Ayurveda therapists or others 3.4. Ayurvedic health professional associations 3.5. Scientific institutions and associations 3.6. Health care associations and institutions 3.7. Patient associations 3.8. Teaching institutions and associations of teaching institutes 3.9. Associations of enterprises, particularly when they are associations of suppliers of Ayurvedic, herbal or complementary medicine products and/or services 3.10. Other associations and bodies from the public health service area or supply of Ayurvedic products. Sponsoring Members without voting rights: Non voting members are all legal persons under public and private law who wish to contribute to the substantial, financial or spiritual promotion of the association as described in the statutes see §6 1-3. Application for Membership The application for membership is to be submitted in writing to the board of directors which shall decide upon it. An objection may be raised against the rejection of the application in writing. The objection is to be addressed to the board of directors within ten days after receipt of the refusal. The objection will be dealt with at the next meeting of the board of directors. The decision of the board of directors to reject or rescind a membership is final. A legal claim to membership does not exist. Annual Fees: Full Members Fees Administrative fee: € 100.00 per year Plus: Basic fee Western-Europe: €250.00 per year Basic fee Eastern Europe: € 150.00 per year Plus: Fee per head for members from Western-Europe* €50.00 Fee per head for members from Eastern Europe* €30.00 *who are a member of a full member organisation of the EuAA herself/himself. Sponsoring Group Membership Fees Administrative fee: € 100.00 per year Plus: Basic fee Western-Europe: €250.00 per year Basic fee Eastern Europe: € 150,00 per year Plus: Fee per head for members from Western-Europe** €10,00 Fee per head for members from Eastern-Europe** €6,00 ** who are a member of a sponsoring member organisation of the EUAA herself/himself.
